I built ClimbLog to understand that gap — so I can enjoy climbing outdoors more.

Why I built this

If you climb, you already know this feeling.

You send hard routes in the gym,

but struggle more than expected on real rock.

You perform well at one crag,

but feel completely different at another.

Some days you feel strong.

Some days you don’t.

And often, we end it there:

“Today just wasn’t my day.”

But climbing performance is not defined by a single session.

It reflects accumulated training,

recovery quality,

physical condition,

mental stability,

weather, rock type, and environment.

Many factors combine to shape how we climb on any given day.

I wanted a way to see those patterns clearly —
