This Privacy Policy applies to the mobile applications ClimbLog and Climb-Analysis (collectively, the “Apps”).

1. Information handled by the Apps

Depending on the features you use, the Apps may handle the following information:

2. Where information is stored

Most app data is stored locally on your device. Some ClimbLog data may also be stored in your private iCloud account when the relevant iCloud functionality is enabled.

The developer does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

3. Video and analysis data

Videos selected for Climb-Analysis are used to provide climbing-movement analysis. Unless a feature clearly states otherwise, video analysis is performed for the purpose of generating results for the user.

When Climb-Analysis shares analysis results with ClimbLog, the shared data is limited to the information required for that feature, such as file metadata, analysis results, and related reference information. The original video file is not shared with ClimbLog unless the user explicitly performs an action that requires it.

4. Health information

Health information is accessed only with your permission and only for app features that use that information. Health data is not used for advertising, marketing, or data brokerage.

You can manage HealthKit permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
